Your Bio
I am Michael Poole, a photographer located in the Boulder/Denver/Front Range of Colorado area.
My love for making great images and playing with camera gear goes back to when I was a child, and my parents gave me that first Kodak Disc camera outfit. That love later developed into photography classes in high school, using 35mm SLR cameras and developing B&W film, which later turned into a career in television production and working on TV camera crews. I have 15 years of work experience in the visual arts and am a registered member of NPPA.
My specialties lie in portrait and headshot photography, close-in macro product stills, architectural/landscape, and since I’m admittedly an automotive enthusiast, I love taking shots of vehicles of all types. As an expert in lighting, I take the time to properly use lighting placement and shadows to accurately capture textures and really make a still photograph pop.
I also understand that a digital photograph is not complete simply when the shutter is depressed, and that comprehensive editing has as much to do with the final appearance of a photo as the initial composition. I know how to remove unwanted elements and make your or your product really look its best.
